Duboce Oasis

Separated from the home by a grade change over 8’ meant that this garden required some serious vision (and engineering) to connect the spaces.  RareField formed, poured, and smooth-trowel-finish a large structural retaining wall.  We then used the vertical space to best advantage building in a water feature visible from the entertainer’s kitchen just inside, planting beds to mitigate the height of it, and completed an almost entirely separate garden on the level high above. 

No matter the complexity or size of the space, connecting everything is a massive upgrade for the lifestyle on offer in a home.  Everything is more useful and more beautiful, not to mention lush and green!
